Kids Place Pediatrics was founded with a passion to offer top-quality pediatric care to children and adolescents in the Treasure Coast. Meet Rosario Correa DNP,ARNP, CPNP (Owner)
Dr. Rosie, a proud NYC native, is an experienced and dedicated autonomous Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for 24 years with over 30 years of expertise in pediatric nursing. She has worked with underserved children in The Bronx and in the Treasure Coast. She holds a Doctorate in Advanced Nursing Practice and has conducted groundbreaking research focused on improving asthma control in pediatric primary care settings. Additionally, Dr. Rosie served as a lieutenant in the US Army Nurse Reserve, further showcasing her commitment to serving others and her country.
Dr. Rosie is passionate about delivering compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to the unique needs of each child and their family. Her goal is to build lifelong, trusted relationships with her patients, ensuring that every family feels supported and cared for.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Rosie is married and enjoys spending time with her two adult children and her beloved grandson. In her free time, she loves listening to oldies music and immersing herself in a good book, a testament to her kind and reflective nature.
Jose Defillo-Vazquez, MD
Dr. Vazquez is a pediatrician with over 40 years of experience in Pediatric Primary care. He graduated from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara Mexico and completed his residency at Metropolitan Hospital in New York City. He has served as Medical Director at The Health Department in the Bronx and Assistant Medical Director at a Federally Qualified Health Center. He delivers excellent and compassionate care to our patients from newborns to adolescents with an expertise in ADHD diagnosis and management.
